The Smart Money Footprint Suite is a sophisticated pair of technical analysis indicators designed to uncover the hidden activity of institutional traders ("smart money") within the range of price bars.

The Spike Volume Indicator

• instantly identify bars with exceptional volume activity across the range
• For every bar on the main chart, it loads the data from the validation time frame
• The Biggest Spike: The single bar on the validation time frame with the highest volume during the main bar's duration
• Smaller Spikes: All bars on the validation time frame where volume exceeds a threshold (e.g., 70%) of the Biggest Spike's volume
• Reveals professional activity which is often hidden inside the low/average volume bars
• Saves considerable time-consuming chart analysis of lower time frames

The Bar Validation Indicator

• To define the exact intra-bar support and resistance levels within a single price bar, based on where the highest volume was traded
• The user applies the indicator to a single bar of interest on the main time frame (e.g., a bar with a large volume or the largest spike in range, or a bar at a key level)
• Shows where on the spread of the bar the largest volume appeared
• Gives Level 2–style insight without needing a Level 2 feed

Relative Volume Indicator

Together with other VSA indicators and tools, the ATM Relative Volume indicator helps to determine the interaction between supply and demand as well as assist traders in their trading decisions.

In the VSA methodology, all analysis is based on Relative Volume. This means that the absolute values of the volume on the price bars are not as important as their volume in relation to the previous volume bars.

You can easily see how any volume bar is classified by observing which colour band in the indicator is reached by the top of any given volume bar v- there 6 color bands

This indicator can be configured to show where the volume has appeared (up, down or level bar)

Key benefits

The relative volume bands make it much easier to define the strength of each volume bar. This provides you with more accurate volume analysis.

You can add multiple relative volume histograms for different timeframes on the same chart. This enables multiple timeframe analysis of volume on one chart to offer a more comprehensive understanding of the markets over several timeframes.

The indicator is fully configurable which enables you to choose the optimal setting for your trading style. This personalises and adapts the tool to your trading approach.
